NEW YORK—As was reported last week, the proposed statue of three fire fighters raising a flag over ground zero in New York will feature one black fire fighter and one Hispanic man.
Now, on the advice of New York City fire commissioner Michael Bloomberg, President Bush's official portrait will be altered to more accurately reflect all of America's former leaders. The new portrait will depict President Bush as one-third caucasian, one-third African American, and one-third Hispanic.
