The Pop-Music Report

CANBERRA, AustraliaA study released today reports that three-quarters of the 80's Aussie pop group Men at Work are currently unemployed. Lead singer Colin Hay was the only Man, according to the report, that is currently gainfully employed.
"Yeah, we think he's a carpenter now," said study author Michael Gibbons. "In the union, too. Not a bad gig. But the others haven't been able to hold any decent jobs down."
The study stayed clear of elaborating on the lives of the other bandmates. It did say, however, that one member of the band was found crouching behind a garbage can at a Queensland bus station asking young children if they liked the song "Who Can it Be Now?". Charges are pending.
