The Fundamental-Theorum-of-Calculus Report

by: Daniel Riehs

HOLLYWOOD, CA—Josh Frankinson's much anticipated pair of movies, A Fundamental Theorum of Calculus, Parts I and II will not be made by Miramax Studios, sources reported.

Critics believe that the films' failure was due to a simple naming problem. The studio could not figure out which of the two movies to promote as Part I and which to promote as Part II.

Roger Ebert was quoted as saying "The plot and characters of movies based on the fundamental theorum of calculus, or FTC, as it is known, would undoubtedly have resulted in two riveting pieces of cinema. It is true, however, that most people can't remember which part of the fundamental theorum is which, so a naming dispute must have been behind the movies' downfall."

It is rumored that Gwyneth Paltrow had been cast in the part of the integrand.
