HARRISBURG, Pa.—Alicia Franklin, 7, freaked out a classmate Friday before leaving for Christmas break. "I'll see you next year," said Franklin to Steven Brightson, also 7.
"I was like, 'Next year! Where are you going?' Then I realized she was talking about January," Brightson said to reporters in a recent interview. He then added, "That was pretty tricky."
Experts agree that a more appropriate remark would have been "Bye."
