BOSTON—Steven Jones, 47, became increasingly annoyed Wednesday when CBS's coverage of the War in Iraq was interrupted in favor of NCAA basketball coverage.
"I really enjoy watching wars," Jones told reporters. "I don't need to know about all this basketball stuff. That's for the college kids to worry about, not me."
While special sports reports have long been the bane of television watchers, this year's basketball tournament has resulted in an unprecedented number of interruptions.
Jones added, "Does anyone even watch basketball, anymore? Wait a second. . . . if Kuwait makes this shot they're going to the final four."
