The Constitution Report

by: Daniel Riehs

WASHINGTON—The US Conference of Catholic Bishops is giving "general support" to a proposed constitutional amendment that would define marriage as the union of a Catholic Man to a Catholic woman for the purpose of procreation.

The conference's administrative committee says the "defense of marriage is an urgent necessity to ensure that those flaming homobags keep their grubby, immoral hands off of our nations children."

A spokesperson for the US bishops says that they only wish the Federal Marriage Amendment being considered by Congress was stronger. It would block courts from redefining marriage or forcing states to do so but would allow legislatures to use tax money to educate and provide health care for the pillaging queerbos and their partners.
