The College Report

PITTSBURGH, Pa.Hulet and Muse employee Robert Jenkins was amazed to hear that summer intern Mindy Henderson was scheduled to go back to school so late, sources reported Wednesday.
Jenkins, who performs mostly secretarial work for the small Pittsburgh accounting firm, learned that Henderson would not be starting her sophomore year at NYU until after Labor Day. This came as quite a shock to Jenkins, who had previously been under the impression that all colleges started classes in late August.
"I mean," Jenkins told reporters following the incident, "My nephew who goes to [the University of] Pitt[sburgh] is already starting to pack up his stuff for the beginning of the year. I think he starts on the 23rd. He's going to have like two-and-a-half weeks done before Mindy even starts."
Office manager Dave Griffin said that he already knew when Jenkins was going back to school and was just happy that she would have the extra time to work.
