The John Kerry Report

by: Daniel Riehs

BOSTON—A group of gymnasts who competed with Kerry in 1968 have produced a television ad saying that he lied about circumstances surrounding his gold-medal-winning performance at the Mexico City games.

The commercial, which aired last evening on both MSNBC and the Fox News Channel, featured Kerry's former teammates questioning the legitimacy of Kerry's win in the Men's all-around gymnastics competition.

"I know John Kerry is lying about his medal, because I tabulated the final scores for myself in my notebook," said Lou Lisbon, the self-proclaimed pommel-horse king of the 1968 team.

While many pundits believe that George Bush and the Republican Party are behind the ads, President Bush recently said that he would pressure the Federal Election Committee to put an end to such hateful commercials.

Bush was not able to compete in the Mexico City games due to a doping violation.
