The RNC Report

AUSTIN, Texas—University of Texas sophomore Tomas Roan sincerely thought that he would watch the television coverage of the Republican National Convention earlier in the month, sources reported.
Sources close to Thomas reported that the 19-year-old political science major said he watched the Democratic National Convention "unbiasedly and with and open mind." He apparently thought that he would do the same with the RNC.
"I knew he wouldn't watch the RNC," said long-time friend Justin Andrews. "He's a Democrat and only watched the DNC because he agreed with everything that was said. I don't think anyone ever watches these things with an open mind. They're actually pretty boring if you don't agree with the speaker."
Roan was unavailable for comment.
