The Money Report

by: Daniel Riehs

STATE COLLEGE, Pa.—Second-year Penn State biology major Kent Russell got his money's worth with season tickets for the 2004 football season.

Russell, whom sources say is not a big football fan, only attended three of the six games in his season ticket package.

Russell got his money's worth because while packages of six tickets cost $131, individual tickets cost $46 each. Since the price of three tickets bought individually was more than the cost of tickets for the whole season, Russell figured that it was unnecessary to go to more than three games.

It is unclear if Russell will follow this same plan next season.
