I Can't Wait For Margaret To Tell Me Her Story

I've been waiting all day to hear what happened. I really want to hear Margaret's story. I'm almost bursting with anticipation.

Everyone's been talking about it, about how she bought a new carpet for her basement, but when she found out that one side of it was a little too long, she had to cut it herself, the ease of which then made her question her decision to have it cut for her by the carpet people in the first place.

It's such a fascinating story, and we so rarely hear from Margaret, unless, of course, she has a poignant and interesting comment to make about something that she might have noticed in her daily work routine, or, as in this case, if she has an interesting story about her home life to tell.

Oh! When will she tell me? I'm almost bursting with anticipation!

I know what I'll do! I'll walk over to Margaret's desk and ask her a simple, straightforward question.

      "How was your weekend, Margaret?"

"Is that a new pencil I see you with, Margaret?"

She will then respond with her story—a story that does not answer my original question but does much more. Her answer will enlighten the soul and renew the spirit. . . .

I can't wait for Margaret to tell me her story!
